As part of supporting our great school community, the Syndal South Parents Association organises activities and events that give parents:

an opportunity to be involved with the school
a chance to meet with other school families

Indoor sports: Join a team with other Syndal South parents

Join a parents' walking group for regular walks around the Glen Waverley/Mount Waverley community area

Gardening: Meet once a month with other parents' and tackle garden projects around the school

Join a parents' yoga group to improve balance, flexibility and strength

Dog training: Learn how to teach your dog to do tricks

Learn basic self-defense

Learn how to play some simple songs on ukelele with a group of other parents

Join a casual/community choir with other parents

Try a 2-3 hour 'Paint and Sip' class for beginners (guided painting class with wine and nibbles)

Join a parents' book club - read a new book each month and get together in a casual environment to discuss the book

Try a ceramics workshop and create your own pot, plate, vase etc

Yarn craft: Learn to knit/crochet and complete simple projects

Create some traditional Japanese origami

Learn how to make your own kimchi
