This assessment has two parts. Each part should take around 30 minutes. Please set aside at least an hour to complete this. Please have paper and pencil ready for the math section. No calculators, outside material or help allowed.

The purpose of this test is to learn more about your math and reading skills. The results of this test will help to determine what level of English 9 and Math you will be placed into (i.e. Honors, Regular). You will not be able to move out of a class once you are assigned even if it is too hard or too easy. This is why it is extremely important that the results accurately match your ability. It is to your benefit that you complete this assessment on your own without any help from others or outside material. Try your best on your own.
