Charlotte Street Arts Centre (CSAC) is pleased to announce the return of Girls+ Rock Camp (G+RC)! This 5-day camp is for girls, trans, and gender creative youth from ages 12 to 17. This camp aims to give youth the opportunity to learn a new instrument (or new techniques on an old one) and express themselves in creative and artistic ways. AMAZING facilitators will guide and coach the campers through a week that is designed to build confidence, leadership and teamwork skills.
The 2024 Camp Dates are August 12 - 17 (9 a.m to 4 p.m. *Early drop-off available*) and the showcase will be Saturday, August 17th at 7 p.m. at CSAC.
Campers do not need to have any prior music experience! The showcase (Saturday, August 17) component is mandatory (Campers who are unable to attend the showcase should not register for the camp) as the week will revolve around creating a "set" (performance) for the final showcase. We are also thrilled to announce that Harvest Festival will be giving G+RC a slot to perform at the Barracks Tent this year! We highly encourage campers to take this opportunity to perform at one of Canada's best festivals!
Registration: We have 10-12 spots available on a "first-come, first-registered" basis to the general public, and 8-10 spots available to our partner organizations. We strongly recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible. All applications are timestamped, whether completed electronically or in physical form. Camp Fees: Our camp fee is $175.00. This fee includes snacks, use of equipment & rental fees. Cheque, cash, debit, or e-transfer payments must be made before camp. If the camp fee is a financial barrier for you, call or email us!! We can work with you to make camp happen, because money shouldn't keep you from accessing rock n' roll!

Location: All parts of the camp will take place at Charlotte Street Arts Centre, 732 Charlotte Street, Fredericton. The final showcase will be at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre Saturday, August 17 at 7 p.m. The Harvest Festival showcase will be at the Barracks Tent Saturday September, 14 at 2:30 p.m.
