Overview
Please bear with me with the information below. I promise I'll make it quick.
I know we all hate "Terms and Agreements," so I'll move through this as quickly as possible. With any survey, we want to do our due diligence to explain its contents, the goal, and what happens after you submit your response. I want to honor you and make sure you have a clear understanding of the survey, but that takes a little bit more time.

Length of SurveyThe survey has eight questions. Depending on the length of your answers, the survey should take about 4-7 minutes.
Contents of Survey
This survey is about why people left their existential framework (e.g. religion, faith, worldview, beliefs, etc.). I chose this language to be the most inclusive rather than simply saying beliefs or deconversion. The de-prefix has a negative connotation, and someone changing their framework isn't bad; it's a change.
Questions will be geared towards your existential framework, both past and present and why you left your previous existential framework. If you think those question may cause you harm of any kind (e.g. emotional or mental triggering), please stop the survey. My goal is not to re-traumatize you. Also, if at any time during the survey you feel stressed, you can stop the survey; you are not obligated to complete it at any time.
Reasons for Survey
In short, this survey isn't for any major publication; it's simply because I'm a curious person. That said, I
do have a background in journalism and social research at the collegiate level. I do plan on using and sharing the results of this survey for content creation. If you're curious about the content I produce, you can check out my

Agreement of Terms
By submitting your response to this survey, you agree to have your results shared on public platforms. Public platforms may include but is not limited to: all forms of social media, websites, news publications, academic journals, etc. No identifying or contact information will be shared. What will be shared is general results and quotes. Regarding quotes, identifiers will be removed, but to be extra safe, please only include information you are comfortable with being shared.
