DemocraShe Application Summer 2024
Thank you for applying to join our DemocraShe Summer 2024 Intensives!

We are open to any female-identifying high school student (completing or entering grades 9–12). DemocraShe is completely free, plus participants are paid stipends, so money is never an issue for any young woman who wants to realize her birthright of running for office. 

All workshops take place on zoom, so young women from across the country can connect with, learn from, and inspire each other!

PROGRAM TIMES AND DATES

Every participant will attend 1 summer intensive workshop. The workshops are offered the following days - July 7, July 14, July 21, and July 28. All workshops are 4 hours, running from 10 am Pacific Time to 3 pm Pacific Time with a one hour break for lunch.

We will be accepting applications for the Summer Intensives through April 30, 2024.

STIPEND

In order to ensure finances are never a barrier to participation, we pay our summer intensive participants $50 for attending a workshop.

WHAT YOU'LL GET OUT OF THE WORKSHOP

- we'll focus on leadership skills like public speaking, advocating for issues, and taking action in your community, alongside resilience skills like grounding and developing an "inner best friend" which will help you as leaders and in anything you do.
- a chance to connect with brilliant young women from across the country
-  access to clubs, alumnae events, and networking opportunities
- membership in a wonderful sisterhood for life!
