The Creatives & Communicators subgroup is a space for those already familiar with effective altruism and focused professionally or academically in the areas of art (visual, linguistic, musical, etc.) and/or communications. Based on interest, the subgroup will may meet monthly or bimonthly. Initially, the group will serve as a casual place to meet others members of the effective altruism community who fall under this common umbrella of professional or academic involvement. Based on participant interest, it can remain a casual meetup or become more structured over time. Given enough interest, it can also split into separate groups to cater to more niche fields.
