Coffee & Conversation for "Women's Christmas Examen"
*Registration is now closed. Please email office[at]mwusa[dot]org for the link to join at 3 pm Eastern today.

Let's take a break together on Women's Christmas: Saturday, January 6 at 3 pm Eastern via Zoom. This next Coffee and Conversation is for both unwinding and uplift. We'll release the season's hustle and bustle to reflect on what we want to pick back up in the New Year.

Women’s Christmas has Irish origins, called Nollaig na mBan. Think celebrating friendship among womenlike Galentine's Dayand appreciation for the women in one’s lifelike Mother’s Dayrolled together on Epiphany. It's a time for restfulness and recognition of the disproportionate domestic work of women, especially around the holidays. Epiphany marks the formal and liturgical end of Christmastide (December 25 - January 5), and of course we start the new calendar year on January 1. So a Women’s Christmas Examen on Epiphany is a time for reflecting on the past and dreaming about the future while deeply sighing.

Together, we'll make a cozy and meaningful space to share with each other the responsibilities that stretch us, the times we feel closest to God and our intentions for navigating the next steps of our faith journeys. Your unique presence will add to the fun, fellowship, and generative spirit of this special occasion.

Register now, note your calendar, and look forward to the possibilities and potential of the relaxing and reflective company of inspired women!

We'll send the link a few days prior to the event for gathering together.
