ITAMA (
https://www.itamaproject.eu/) is a project which proposes a new way to diagnose coeliac disease (CD) quicker and more efficiently. This approach is currently being tested on around 20,000 children of paediatric age in Malta and Italy. Our medical research team is led by Professor Giuseppe Magazzu' (Policlinico di Messina) and Dr. Christopher Barbara (Mater Dei Hospital).
After we have established the efficacy of this approach through this intensive study, we aim to bring it to wider use across Europe. Therefore, it is extremely important for us to understand the CD diagnostic pathway and some other specificities in the country/ies you are familiar with. We would really appreciate it if you could take part in this brief survey.
