As a Youth Ambassador, you'll embark on an empowering journey:ย 
๐Ÿง  Dive into diverse mental health topics and issues.ย 
๐Ÿ“‹ Craft a Youth Needs Assessment Survey to understand the unique challenges faced by your peers.ย 
๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Create an inspiring podcasts based on your findings, amplifying youth voices.ย 
๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Develop engaging mental health presentations to support peer-to-peer destigmatization.ย

Requirements:
-Lives, works, or attends school in San Mateo County and is a Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) ages 13-25.
-Can attend weekly meetings --- We meet in-person with some virtual meetings atย 1670 S Amphlett Blvd # 250, San Mateo, CA 94402

Are you able to meet on Tuesdays, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm for our weekly meetings with youth ambassadors? Meetings are on zoom with occasional in-person meetings at the San Mateo yli office. Address: 1670 S Amphlett Blvd # 250, San Mateo, CA 9440Please check all the apply. *

Participant Expectations
  • Show up and be present. Regular attendance demonstrates reliability, commitment, and respect for the program opportunity provided.ย 

  • Show respect to all youth and leaders in the program.

  • Participate actively in discussions and activities.

  • Do your best to complete all program projects and activities.

  • Be open to trying new things and stepping out of your comfort zone.

  • Support and encourage your peers in their leadership journey.

  • Communicate with your peers and program leads regarding capacity and wellness needs (we understand that life happens, letโ€™s support each other).ย
