THE AFRICA DIGITAL HEALTH INNOVATION AND RESEARCH CENTER OF EXCELLENCE-Makerere University School of Public Health (MUSPH) with support from Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation established the Africa Digital Health Innovations and Research Center of Excellence. The goal of the center of excellence is to identify how, and under what circumstances digital worker payments can support effective campaign delivery. The insights will inform operationalization of this work, and movement towards cross campaign digital payments. Additionally, it will enhance efforts to digitize payments for health workers by fostering and supporting evidence-based and evidence-driven decision making in Sub Saharan Africa. The Africa Digital Health, Innovation and Research center of excellence at MUSPH will conduct data collection activities for a cross sectional observational study that seeks to determine the “Effectiveness of mobile money payments to vaccination campaign health care workers on polio vaccination campaign coverage and quality in Uganda” The center of excellence therefore seeks to hire 25 Research Assistants to implement data collection activities
