Dear Parent/Carer

This half-term our topic is ‘Off with her Head”. To really engage the children in this project, we will be visiting Hampton Court Palace.

During this visit, the children will have the opportunity to learn about Tudor times via a ‘digital mission’ and will also take part in a workshop to learn about the difference in rich/poor people from these times and the games that were prevalent in this era.

Classes 5B and 5S will be visiting on Monday 23rd September 2019.
Classes 5H and 5P will be visiting on Monday 21st October 2019.

On both days, we will be leaving school at approximately 9:00am so children should arrive promptly at the normal start of the day. We will be travelling by bus. We anticipate returning before the end of the school day.

ALL CHILDREN will require a packed lunch from home on the day and coats appropriate for the weather. They should bring a snack and plenty to drink but no fizzy drinks or glass bottles. Full school uniform should be worn.
