Project TEAL Outreach Manager Application
Project TEAL (https://www.projectteal.org/) is a student-led initiative committed to providing young people with the knowledge and tools to become engaged citizens in the democratic process. Through tolerance, engagement, action, and learning, we believe that civic engagement is the key to dismantling the polarization that has come to dominate our geopolitical climate today.

An Outreach Manager will largely focus on accomplishing the logistical tasks of Project TEAL. Responsibilities include devising various outreach methods for the following purposes: 1) continuously expanding/promoting our organization through digital outreach on social media, 2) collaborating with other organizations for events/campaigns, 3) media outreach to garner publicity for our cause, and 4) promoting our curriculum through various means (such as contacting school districts, asking other institutions to publish our curriculum on their site, etc.). On occasion, Outreach Managers may also be asked to write an article for our blog. Individuals interested in applying for the Outreach Manager position should possess strong communication abilities, adept creativity in strategizing outreach methods, and a ready willingness to work with others.

If you consistently exemplify your ability to fulfill the above responsibilities with professionalism, dedication, and enthusiasm, you may hold this position until you graduate from high school. Once an applicant is selected for a role, they will be expected to begin immediately.

You must be in grades 9-12 to be selected as an Outreach Manager for Project TEAL. If you possess a passion for civic engagement and youth mobilization, strong leadership ability, and a willingness to put in the time and effort when necessary, this is the role for you.

An Outreach Manager should be able to commit at least 3 to 5 hours per week to this position. We strongly urge you to consider the time, effort, and passion you would be able to dedicate to the role before applying. After submitting this application, you will hear back within a few weeks with a decision concerning your placement on our team.
