MET II - Cervical and Thoracic Spine, Rib Dysfunctions - prerequisite: MET I

Muscle Energy Techniques (MET) is an osteopathic manual therapy technique that uses the gentle muscle contractions by the patient to relax and lengthen muscles, and normalize joint motion. MET can be used to address acute or chronic injuries, or maintain normal joint range of motion to optimize physical performance.

This course is for certified, licensed or registered allied health care professionals with an interest in expanding their knowledge and skills in the rehabilitation and reconditioning of orthopedic injuries. It provides an alternative manual approach to address neuromuscular dysfunctions.

* BONUS: This course also reviews and discusses other manual therapy courses: Upledger's Craniosacral Therapy (CST), Chikly's Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT), myofascial release (MFR, cupping), Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT), Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex (PDTR), Clinical Neurodynamics, proprioceptive taping techniques, and Somatotherapy's Articular pumping and ELDOA.
