The Duke International Arbitration Society (DIAS) invites students join us for the info session of DIAS followed by a debrief session of the § 1782 oral argument before the Supreme Court with Professor Ryan Mellske. DIAS is Duke’s very first arbitration-focused student group. Its goal is to gather like minded students and host arbitration-related events. Professor Mellske, who had won a 1782 issue in the Western District of North Carolina in 2020, will take students through some selective excerpts of the oral argument. He will also share insights on his recent publication in the Columbia Law Review.
