Student Device Loan Agreement
Student Device Loan Agreement and Expectations for Responsible Device Use

The North Pike School District (“NPSD”) provides devices to students to enhance their education. It is imperative that parents/guardians stress to their children how important it is to take good care of their issued device and to behave appropriately when interacting with others digitally. The student/family is responsible for the daily care and maintenance of the device. Certain rules are necessary to protect the device and the school network and ensure that this technology serves as an effective instructional tool.

The focus of the one-to-one (1:1) Chromebook Program at North Pike School District is to provide tools and resources to all learners. Excellence in education requires that technology be seamlessly integrated throughout the educational program and as a result increasing access to technology is essential. Individual use of Chromebooks is a way to empower students to maximize their full potential and to prepare them for college and the workplace.

Middle School and High School students will take their devices home. The Lower and Upper Elementary will schedule times for parents to pick-up devices.
