Some of Utah’s best herping can be done in Rock Canyon with opportunities to see many of Utah’s native reptiles. We’re lucky it’s so close! Because it’s outside please come or send your camper with a hat, protective clothes, good hiking shoes, and of course plenty of water. There are pavilions close, so there will be cover, but a lot of the learning will be hands-on and practical–in the field! LAST YEAR CAMPS FILLED UP IN ONE WEEK! REGISTER SOON!
Campers will have exciting opportunities to explore nature, herp with Clint in a safe and sustainable way, learn how to pin insects, and make new friends as well as have hands on engagement with topics such as: adaptation, habitats, phylogenetics, and reptile diversity including Utah’s most commonly encountered reptiles!
Clint has a PhD in Biology Education, and is well known for his educational YouTube channel, “Clint’s Reptiles.” Clint will be planning and teaching our summer camps! Clint has taught at both UVU and BYU and has been touring homes and schools across the Wasatch front since 2014. Instilling a love of science and animals in all who interact with him.
