The main objectives of the project are:

• to provide participants with leadership and facilitation skills
• to provide participants with tools to work on sustainability and climate action
• to increase the collaboration between ecovillages, sustainable initiatives and youth organisations

SELECTION OF PARTICIPANTS

We are looking for actual and aspirant youth workers and young leaders from Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Spain and Ukraine. To be eligible as a participants, the participant's country of departure and arrival have to be included in this list. Participants’ selection will be based upon the information that you share with us in the questionnaire and consultation with the project’s partner organisations.

It is important for receiving the full amount of the EU grant that covers your free participation that we have the full number of participants. You can only cancel due to force majeur, e.g. you get very ill. Otherwise, you might be able to find another person to substitute you, and the partner organisation in your country might be able to help you with this.

DATE AND VENUE

Arrival day is Monday 30th of October after 14:00. Departure day is Monday 6th of November after breakfast.

The venue is  called Vzdelávacie centrum (https://www.centrumzajezova.sk/). Zajezova is situated in rural Slovakia close the city of Zvolen. 

TRAVEL AND REPORT DOCUMENTATION

To reduce the project’s environmental footprint, participants from most countries will be asked to avoid flying for traveling to and from the training. Please make sure that you comply with this condition if you apply.

Every participant needs to fill in a participants report issued by the EU after returning home from the event. 
The participant consents to sending us their travel documentation that we need for the final project report.
