WRMS Parent/Guardians PBE Form
We need a completed form for EACH 8th Grade WRMS student by April 1st, 2024. Below is important information about the Pace Bend Expedition (PBE).

We expect all 8th grade students to attend EACH day of this expedition. This is not an optional field trip and there is NOT enough staff at WRMS to watch any students who chooses not to attend. 

Please fill out the form even if your student may be absent.

Please digitally complete the attached STUDENT MEDICAL/LIABILITY RELEASE FORM by April 1st.

April 29th: All you need to know about DAY 1
1) Drop Of Information: All 8th grade students from both middle schools will be meeting at the WHS stadium. Please drop off your student(s) between 7:45am and NO LATER THAN 8:15am. Use the map below to see the best way to keep traffic moving.

2) Students do NOT need to bring ANYTHING (NO CELL PHONES) - They will be receiving a PBE t-shirt before April 29th that they need to wear on April 29th. Students should wear closed toe shoes. Students can also wear shorts, hats, and if they want to wear a swimsuit under their clothes. Gentlemen can wear swim shorts with their PBE shirt. Ladies are encouraged to wear one-piece swimsuits. 

However, for all students the PBE t-shirt must be worn AT ALL TIMES even in the swimming pool per facility rules. Any student who does not wear the PBE t-shirt on DAY 1 will not be permitted to swim in the pool. The pool is one of the optional activities. Also, the pool will be monitored with at least 2 lifeguards at all times to ensure student safety.

* Please apply sunscreen before arriving at WHS stadium. We will have sunscreen available throughout the day as well as the nurse's station will have more sunscreen, if needed.*

** Water stations available all day, no water bottles needed. **

***A hot lunch & snacks will be provided and most dietary restrictions will be met by facility. However, if your student has severe dietary restrictions you may pack a sack lunch and snacks for them to bring. We will make sure they are well taken care of.***

3) Pick Up Information: We plan to load buses at Pace Bend by 6:00pm & depart Pace Bend by 6:30pm. PLEASE PLAN TO PICK UP AT THE WHS STADIUM AROUND 7:30pm. *Please be patient these times MAY differ due to EANES bus drivers arrival at Pace Bend. There are LOTS of buses so students will arrive at staggered times.*
April 30th: All you need to know about DAY 2
1) Drop of information: All students from both middle schools will be meeting at the WHS stadium. Please drop off your student between 7:45am and NO LATER THAN 8:15am. Use the map below to see how to keep traffic moving along.

2) Students do NOT need to bring ANYTHING (NO CELL PHONES) - They can wear the PBE t-shirt from Thursday or choose to wear any type of school spirit t-shirt (WRMS or WHS) on April 14th.

3) We will walk to the WACC for indoor activities from 8:45am until 11:00am.

4) Pick Up Information: PLEASE PLAN TO PICK UP YOUR CHILD AT THE STADIUM between 11:10 am and 11:20!

**No lunch will be provided on this day.**

MORNING DROP OFFS - Please follow BLUE ARROWS.
PICK UP: You may park in the WHS stadium parking lot for PICK UP on both days to wait for your student(s).
I have read the above information about April 29th and understand that I will drop off by 8:15 am & pick up around 7:30pm at the WHS stadium on April 29th *Understanding 7:30pm is a TENTATIVE time for pick up. *
April 30th -  PICK UP INFORMATION (WHS STADIUM)
PLEASE complete the following and understand all WRMS students will be walked to the WHS stadium by 11:05 am in order  to be pick up by 11:15 am! Please make arrangements for your student to be picked up PROMPTLY by 11:15 am! We are trying to avoid WHS lunch traffic.
WACC DAY 2: My student has permission to be pick up by the following (First & Last Name) on April 30th by 11:15am from the WHS stadium parking lot. *
Please provide a contact # in case we need to contact the person picking up WRMS Student. *
I have read the above information about April 30th and understand that my student will dropped off at the WHS stadium by 8:15 am & the person above will pick up my student by 11:15 am from the WHS STADIUM parking lot on April 30th. *
Please pay the $40 skyward fee for PBE by April 1st. *
