This form should be completed by the Inbound Student. First familiarize yourself with the District 6250 RYE Family Visit Policy available on the IB website.
This form should be completed at least 4 weeks ahead of the visit arrival date.
To complete the form you will need the following information. Collect it before beginning and make sure to accurately enter the email addresses; errors will require you to resubmit the entire form.
- Your YEO's name, email and telephone number
- Your host family name and email address (for the family you will be living with at the time of the visit)
- Dates of any Belo tours you will join
- The final day of class for the academic year at the school you are currently attending (you can find this on their website)
- The exact dates of your family's visit
- Full names for each family member visiting and an email address for the primary contact
- Itinerary of the family visit (including exact dates they may be in the city you currently live in, dates and other cities you will visit with them)
Because family visits can seriously interfere with your exchange year and can be a great inconvenience for a host family, we will consider carefully whether to approve a request. We will also consider other travel commitments such as the BELO tours. In most cases, we will make a decision on the request within a week.
