Working Families Tax Credit Workshop Request
The Washington Working Families Tax Credit (WFTC) will go into effect in 2023. The Working Families Tax Credit Coalition is made up of over 45 racial justice, labor, immigrant rights, and policy organizations that advocated for the passage of the Working Families Tax Credit. We want to make sure that our partners know about the tax credit and are prepared to help community members as they learn about the credit and apply. Please fill out this form to request a workshop from the coalition. 

Workshops are over zoom, last about one hour, and cover: 
  • Information about the Working Families Tax Credit, and why community members spent over 10 years advocating for it
  • Why a tax credit for low income Washingtonians is an equitable way to provide targeted support, and helps make our tax code more racially just
  • Eligibility information, including eligibility information specifically focused on ITIN filers 
  • The application process for the WFTC
