The NSO will be offering a *FREE* workshop series that will prepare participants to tackle major applications for postgraduate scholarships, including the Fulbright U.S. Student program. This workshop has been approved as a REAL Level 2 experience.
Led by the NSO staff, participants will learn the fundamentals of preparing an application for a major postgraduate scholarship and will address topics such as how to write about yourself, how to connect past experiences and future goals, how to select recommenders, and how to speak to the values and mission of the award you are applying for. Each session will be interactive, and participants will be expected to take an active role in discussion and writing exercises, as well as to come prepared with any assigned homework completed. We will be reading excerpts from Wes Moore's The Work and Anne Lamott's Bird by Bird, as well as completing some writing assignments outside of meeting hours.
**The success of this series will very much depend on your attendance and active participation!**
Please use the form below to register for the workshop series, which will be meeting five times on:
Monday, May 22
Tuesday, May 23
Wednesday, May 24
