2020-2021 Virtual Learning Enrollment Agreement
Due to the current health pandemic, many families have requested the option to participate in virtual learning while current guidelines and restrictions are in place for the 2020-2021 school year.

By completing the information below, I am confirming our family's choice to have my child participate in virtual learning and I understand the following:

My child will participate in virtual learning for the 2020-2021 school year, or until the health crisis is diminished *
My child will remain enrolled at Sand Creek High School while engaged in virtual learning. *
My child will remain enrolled at Sand Creek High School while engaged in virtual learning. Virtual learning will consist of core classes (Math, ELA, Science and Social Studies) and elective classes (which may not mirror in-person schedule) to stay on track for graduation *
My student may be expected to spend up to 5 hours engaging in learning each school day; students will have 6 to 8 classes depending on grade level and credits *
My student will have virtual access to a teacher, during the assigned and communicated time for each subject area during the day. As with all students, teachers are available by email and will respond within 24 hours. *
Teachers will record attendance for each day and students will need to participate in e learning to be marked present. If an absence is necessary, an adult will need to call into the school to excuse the absence (same as for in person learning) *
If families choose virtual learning, students will be required to continue online education until the end of the first quarter, September 30th.  However, continuation of online education is encouraged through the entire semester to limit disruptions in student learning.   *
If virtual learning is no longer feasible for my family, I will contact the school and request to begin in person learning, which will not occur until after September 30th. (This process may take up to 5 business days to transition) *
My student has access to appropriate technology at home OR I have requested a chromebook from the school (See questions below for this). *
