1. Sport, Health and/or Community Champion

In recognition of an individual or a team who has shown true dedication to a sport, health, or community within the Teignbridge District from September 15th 2018 – 15th January 2020

2. Personal Achievement Award

In recognition of an individual who has achieved a personal goal in the local community such as overcome a fear or defied the odds, exceeding their expectations and achieved success within Teignbridge from September 15th 2018 - 15th January 2020
 
3. Green Champions

In recognition of individuals, clubs, groups and organisations for their achievements and changes made towards environmental issues, sustainability and climate change across the district from September 15th 2018 – January 15th 2020

4. Coach/Manager of the Year Award

In recognition of an individual who has led a team, squad or individual(s) to success in the sporting or community setting from September 15th 2018 – 15th January 2020.

5. Community School of the Year Award

In recognition of a school/college that has shown commitment, dedication and success in sport and/or community engagement throughout 2019. Please include all achievements and successes from September 15th 2018 – 15th January 2020

6. Young Persons Services to Sport and Community

In recognition of a young person who has contributed significantly to their community in sport, health or as part of a education from September 15th 2018 – 15th January 2020

7. Junior Sports Person of the Year

In recognition of an individual who has achieved local, regional or national success within their sport from September 15th 2018 – 15th January 2020

8. Senior Sports Person of the Year

In recognition of an individual who has achieved local, regional or national success within their sport from September 15th 2018 – 15th January 2020

9. Junior Team of the Year Award

In recognition of a team that has achieved local, regional or national success within their Sport or Community from September 15th 2018 – 15th January 2020

10. Senior Team of the Year Award

In recognition of a team that has achieved local, regional or national success within their Sport or Community from September 15th 2018 – 15th January 2020

11. Business Contribution to Sport and/or Community

In recognition of a Business that has contributed to Sport and/or the Community through financial and/or non-financial means from September 15th 2018 – 15th January 2020

12. Charity Contribution to Sport and/or Community

In recognition of a Charity or a not-for-profit organisation that has contributed to Sport and/or the Community through financial and/or non-financial means from September 15th 2018 – 15th January 2020

13. Lifetime Achievement Awards (Sport or Community)

In recognition of an individual who has achieved a Lifetime of outstanding contribution to sport or community

ELIGIBILITY:
• All the nominees must reside, volunteer/work, attend a sports club or be in full-time education within the district of Teignbridge
• To be eligible for all junior awards, the individual must be 16 years of age or younger on 31/12/19
• To be eligible for all young person’s awards, the individual must be 18 years of age or younger on 31/12/19
• Individuals will not be eligible if they have been shortlisted on 3 consecutive years for any category of award
• All nominations must be received by Friday 17th Feb 2020.
NB: The Judging Panel require each nominator to ensure that their nomination form includes all the achievements and successes of the individual or team they are nominating. PLEASE, ensure you list their best achievements in priority order.
Failure to include vital information may result in the nominee being left out of the shortlist
