At the 2019 Long Island Group Aviation Day, expect to have a good time. Not only will you learn about aviation and its role in both modern and historical contexts, but additionally, numerous guest speakers, holding a variety of careers in the aerospace industry, are expected to attend and present on their experiences. There will be multiple hands-on activities, including wind tunnel experimentation and aircraft walkarounds, not to mention continuous orientation flights. Learn how to get your pilot’s license and check out the Redbird Flight Simulator. It’s going to be an awesome day. Come prepared to learn, engineer, and fly. We’ll see you there!
