Official Registration Form for MCC Youth Company  Auditions 2023-24
Thank you so much for your interest in MCC Theater Youth Company!  

We are asking that everyone please fill out the form below so that we can keep you informed about our audition process in the fall. Please note that parent authorization is required in order to participate in our Youth Company Programs. The auditions will take place on October 18 & 19, 2023. Auditions will be TWO DAYS and  attendance on BOTH DAYS are required. The auditions are for BOTH Performance Lab AND Playwriting Lab.

MCC Theater Youth Company is a FREE program exclusively for NYC High School Students. Auditions will be held IN PERSON at MCC Theater located at 511 West 52nd St between 10th and 11th avenues for the following programs in the MCC Theater Youth Company:

PERFORMANCE LAB - a weekly class that meets Tuesdays from 4:30 -6:30pm from October 2023- May 2024, is dedicated to ensemble building, where actors develop their performance skills through improvisation, scene study, movement, voice, and devising. They create, rehearse, and share their original works during the NYC Department of Education spring break for our culminating annual UNCENSORED production from April 26 to May 5, 2024.

PLAYWRITING LAB - a weekly playwrighting session that meets Wednesdays from 4:30-6:30pm from October 2023- May 2024, where members develop original scripts in weekly workshops focused on how to create monologue, dialogue, setting, conflict, and characters. Playwrights get to experience a professional workshop process and see their plays brought to life in our culminating annual Fresh Play Festival on May 10 & 11, 2024.

The DEADLINE to REGISTER for auditions is Tuesday, October 17th at 11:59pm.

COVID POLICY: Please note to audition you must be fully vaccinated (booster is not needed) and have proof of Covid Vaccination to enter MCC Theater and masks are optional. Please reach out to us at the email below if you have a religious or medical exemption.
