This anonymous survey is just an interest survey and should be filled out once per student in band.  This survey is for our planning purposes.    You can view a tentative sample itinerary and our COVID protocols below.  The trip would depart in the evening of Wednesday, April 20th and return Monday morning, April 25th.  The cost is approximately $1200.  While we would love to take this trip, it is entirely based on your willingness to go!

Your actual commitment would happen after the trip gets 100% approved and you submit a deposit.


TRIP INSURANCE
Trip insurance is done on an individual basis and is highly encouraged.  Trip insurance can be purchased through the 3rd party vender offered by our travel company or through your own insurance company.  You do have the option to not purchase trip insurance, but understand that you may not receive a complete or partial refund if you get quarantined or get COVID and unable to go.  If you get trip insurance, make sure your insurance provides for a "cancel for any reason" policy.  

If a student tests positive for COVID, the following procedures are in place:

 In order to sign up for the trip, parents must agree to come get their child in a timely manner if their student tests positive for COVID

We will purchase an extra hotel room to have a location of quarantine and have additional rooms available if necessary for multiple cases through the hotel.

We will designate a willing vaccinated adult to stay back with a positive student until the parent is able to arrive.  

We will have use of a personal vehicle with us to accommodate transportation for a COVID student or adult if needed.   This would only be driven by a vaccinated adult.  
 
All Huntsville City School and venue (hotel, Disney, etc) COVID rules and regulations will be followed.
