Farmshare Austin Volunteer Release Policy *
I understand that I am not considered an employee of Farmshare Austin while performing volunteer work for the organization. I further understand that as a volunteer, I am not covered by Workers’ Compensation insurance (medical coverage or loss of wages) for injury that may occur while I am acting as a volunteer. In connection with my voluntary involvement in activities undertaken for, and with the participation and support of Farmshare Austin, I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older, or am accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older. I hereby agree to release and discharge all Farmshare Austin employees, its officers, directors and volunteers from all claims, demands and actions for injuries sustained to my person and/or property, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage or destruction, and death, whether caused by NEGLIGENCE or otherwise, and whether for bodily injury, property damage or loss otherwise, as a result of my involvement in such activities. I also agree to release and hold Farmshare Austin, its officers, directors, employees and volunteers harmless from any cause of action, claim or suit arising from such activities. I hereby acknowledge that my attendance and involvement in such activities is voluntary, that I am participating at my own risk, that I am aware that the activities may be hazardous, and that I have read the foregoing terms and conditions of this release. I further grant Farmshare Austin and its affiliates, its assigns and successors, my consent and full right to use my name, photograph, likeness and image in any and all media publications, advertising, and publicity in connection with my participation in these activities.
