The Shower volunteer greets participants who have signed up, escorts the guest to the shower room and provides a hygiene kit for the guest to take with them and a towel. Duties include doing a final wipe down of the shower stall, assembling hygiene kits as needed, washing the towels used after all participants are done.
Similarly, the Laundry volunteer greets the guest who has signed up, escorts them to the laundry room and assists the guest in doing their load of laundry. Duties include maintaining the laundry room in good, clean condition, cleaning out the lint trap between loads in the dryer, advising staff of any issues with the laundry machines.
