Business Professionals Engagement Interests Form
The Carlson School Diversity, Inclusion, and Enrollment team is looking for business professionals in the Twin Cities who are interested in volunteering their time and expertise to connect with students for our various programs, events, and/or conferences. Our programming targets a variety of audiences—including current undergraduate students, as well as prospective local high school and middle school students. Below are some explanations of our various programs and then a form for expressing interest in opportunities. Once we receive your information, you will hear from a member of our team to connect with you about your expressed interests.

THRIVE
Select incoming undergraduate students are invited to join the THRIVE cohort, in which they take Carlson School courses, participate in community building and leadership retreats together, and are provided peer mentorship. The program is intended for Carlson School students who are first generation or historically underrepresented, who demonstrate a commitment to learning and leadership development.

Emerging Leaders of Color (ELOC)
ELOC is a free, 8-month college pathway program hosted by the Carlson School of Management for underrepresented high school students. Students commit to coming to campus one Saturday a month.

Analytics U
Analytics U at the Carlson School of Management is a free week-long pathway program for underrepresented high school students, introducing them to how data science can play a critical role in solving real world problems that impact our everyday lives. The program will also includes college access and professional development opportunities and connections and networking with industry professionals.

Business Innovation Academy (BIA)
BIA is a two-week, interactive, and hands-on summer program for rising 7th- and 8th-graders.

Power Lunches
Power Lunches connect Carlson School first- and second-year undergraduate women with business leaders for insightful conversations. Each month, preeminent women who are leaders in their fields will share lessons from their careers and discuss current business topics with a small group of undergraduate women.

Equity and Leadership Conference/Speaker Series
This annual conference and speaker series is hosted for all University of Minnesota students interested in equity and leadership topics in a business professional setting.
