Global Light Pollution Initiatives
For our Dark and Quiet Skies Global Outreach Project this May, we are gathering information about how countries around the world approach the fight against light pollution. We are asking you to provide some brief information about initiatives happening in your country (either led by you, or someone else), and provide practical ways people can get involved in this effort. This could include changing their light bulbs to LEDs, signing a petition, participating in a town hall, or joining a lobbying group -- whatever you think would be most relevant for your community.

More than anything, we want to understand the extent to which each country is engaging with this issue. And please: include links where relevant!

We will compile all of this information into a single document and make it available to the public during the month of May. It is our hope that people will use this resource to learn more about the problem, see what their country is doing about it, and identify pathways through which they can help push the effort forward in ways that make sense for their environmental and cultural context.

If we do not get enough entries to turn this into a comprehensive document (this year), then we will use this information in our social media campaign to promote your work and/or the work done in your country.
