Katie Ann Powell is a senior and third year member of the Hillcrest dance company. She is so grateful that this year she got to serve the company as their president. Katie Ann Powell is excited to attend BYU next fall where she will start taking GE's and figure out what she needs to go into. If she isn't on the dance floor, you can find her whooping her family in a nerf gun war, jamming to star  wars music on her harp, or practicing her disney princess signatures. As her last fortune cookie advised her: "Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do." She would like to thank Chelsea Lujan, her previous dance teachers, and her family that taught her she could dance. She would like to advise that no matter how often the world tells you that you cannot be a dancer, dance your heart out and prove them wrong. As Katie Ann would say, "Everyone moves, therefore everyone can dance. Whether you dance on a stage or dance in your home, dance for joy."

Alex Palmer is a senior and a second year member of dance company, productions company and vocal ensemble. Alex is Hillcrest's vocal performance sterling scholar and recently won second runner up for sterling scholar at the state level. Alex serves as Hillcrest theatre department's secretary. Alex is planning to attend Brigham Young University in the fall to study vocal pedagogy, elementary education and English. Alex is unimaginably grateful to Ms. Lujan and all of the teachers at Hillcrest that have been patient and cooperative enough to allow her to pursue all of her passions. Alex owes everything to her angel mother, without whom she could not function, and to her father who has and always will be her biggest fan.

Sophie Lovell is a Junior, and this is her third year on Dance Company. She is a full IB student and a member of the Husky Club. She loves to spend her time helping others, and procrastinating homework.  She would like thank her family and friends for their support. When she is not dancing, you can find her teaching dance classes, making jewelry, or spilling things all over herself. She would also like to thank her knee cap for staying in one piece this year, and rest assured, she is knocking on wood as you read this.

Erika Parker is a sophomore at Hillcrest and is a first year member of Dance Company. She has been dancing for 13 years with Murray Community Dance, and Utah Dance Artists. She has been trained extensively in tap, jazz, ballet, and pointe and also does modern and contemporary. Erika is happy with all the new genres she has been learning this year in Dance Company. She has loved every minute of it and is grateful to be involved in Hillcrest performing arts!

Brynn Webster is a Freshman and this is her first year on Dance Company. She has been in dance for 7 years and has trained mostly in ballet and jazz. She is super excited to be dancing with this amazing company. Other than dance, Brynn participates in Cross-Country and Track. She wants to thank her family and especially her parents for supporting her.
