Hello friends! Thanks so much for listening to this in-progress version of my audio novel project. This project represents several new things for me—my first long-form writing project, and a very new approach to music. Having your feedback about what you've heard will be incredibly helpful for me as I continue working on the project and seek publication opportunities in the future.
I'm curious to know your thoughts about any of these elements:
- The characters: did you find them compelling? Did you care about them? Did you find the representation of Mariana as a child of an immigrant parent and neurodivergent person compassionate and enriching to the story?
- The world: did you have questions about the world in which the story is set that bothered you as you listened? Did you find the world of the story compelling?
- The format: was the music too active? Not active enough? How did the length of this chapter feel to you? The narration: Future versions of the book may have a different narrator. How did you feel about my narration of the text?
- Your overall impressions: do you want to hear more of this story? What are your overall feelings about this draft and the overall mission of the project so far?
Thank you!
