We will explore research behind teacher mentoring. Participants will learn what teacher intervisitation looks like  using Candido Rounds and identify a number of ways that teachers could visit each other's classrooms. The book, Otherful: How to Change the World and Your School Through Other People, by Mike Kleba and Ryan O'Hara, is a requirement of this course.  Twenty free copies of the book  are available for pickup at Islip UFSD: 215 Main Street, Islip, NY 11751.
