Falcon Ridge Elementary NPAS Discipline Complaint Procedure Form
** In compliance with Minnesota Statute 121A.49
Students, parents and other guardians, and school staff may file a complaint and seek corrective action when the requirements of the Minnesota Pupil Fair Dismissal Act, including the implementation of the local behavior and discipline policies, are not being implemented appropriately or are being discriminately applied.
All submissions will be reviewed within three school days of receiving a complaint.
New Prague Area Schools prohibits reprisals or retaliation against any person who asserts, alleges, or reports a
complaint, and provide procedures for applying appropriate consequences for a person
who engages in reprisal or retaliation.
Middle and High School investigations will be conducted by the Building Principal or their designee. Elementary investigations will be conducted by a NPAS Elementary
Principal
where the complaint did not originate.
Policy 506 and the Discipline Complaint Procedures are communicated to students, staff and parent/guardians in the following ways: School Website, Email, Student Expectation Meetings.
