Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at The Farm Market at Mill No. 5.  

Our Mission:
The Farm Market brings together local farmers, food producers, and consumers for a joyful celebration of food in a vibrant gathering place and destination.

Our Story:
The Farm Market operates year-round at Mill No. 5. The market emphasizes a direct connection between producer and consumer with the purpose of supporting local food producers, building the local food economy, and increasing food access. We emphasize sustainable practices and a diverse selection of farm products, community resources, and prepared foods. As a destination for community, the market features live music and all of the offerings of Mill No. 5 including independent shops, a cafe, a movie theater, and a soda fountain shop. The Farm Market is an event owned and operated by Mill No. 5 and adheres to its mission and core values, creating a friendly and vibrant social environment at the center of the Lowell community.


Those who may apply:

-Those who produce and sell products that fit into the theme of a farmers’ market. Ie. food and food related items.
-Established small businesses and those who are in the beginning stage of their business.
-Those who fit into the general esthetic of The Farm Market and Mill No. 5. We curate vendors and products that produce quality products with professional packaging and presentations.
-For those producing food items, you must cook/prepare those items in a licensed commercial kitchen space and You and your staff must be Servesafe certified. You must show documentation for both of these requirements.
-Your business must have a strong social media presence and have active followers/customers.
-We do provide space at our market for community involvement. Nonprofit organizations may apply and tables are available at no cost. Priority is given to Lowell nonprofits focusing on sustainability and the arts.


Vendors are accepted on a rolling basis, however space is on a first-come first served basis. Priority is given to food producers. We take great pride in the curation of our vendors and not all applicants will be accepted.  


We do not accept:

-Resellers of purchased products. Prepackaged food items may be accepted on a case-by-case basis, ie. baking blends.
-Selling clubs or Multi Level Marketing: Herbal Life, Doterra, Lularoe,etc.
-Soap, lotion, herbs and coffee/tea vendors.


The Details:
If your product is in line with our mission and a potential asset to our customer base, we will begin a conversation with you about you and your product. We encourage vendors to begin as a popup, attending ideally two markets and then moving into a weekly or bi-weekly schedule if we believe you will be successful.
Vendors may carry supplemental items, which are produced by another party with prior approval. These items may not reach more than 10% of your total available products. Preference however will be given to vendors who produce their own products. Each vendor must have read through and agree to The Farm Market policies before being accepted. Each vendor must pay their vendor fees in advance of attending the market.Vendors will be asked not to return if there is continued violation of the Farm Market policies.  

Pricing:

Farmers: $25.00 per 6 ft table or $35.00 for two tables
Processors: $25.00 per 6 ft table or $40.00 for two tables
Prepared Food vendors (Concessionaires): $50.00 for two tables (no one table option)
Non Food Vendors: $25 per 6 ft table
Non-Profit/Community: $0
