San Pawl il-Baħar SPORTS FEST 
The St.Paul's Bay Local council has teamed up with the Malta Skateboarding Association and the Malta Street Sport Association to organise St.Paul's Bay's first Sports Fest on Saturday 15th July in the Buġibba Square and along the promenade.

This event will feature 13 different kind of sports - Skateboarding 🛹, BMX 🚴, Scooter 🛴, Inline Rollerblades 🛼, 1v1 Football ⚽, street basketball 🏀, Volleyball 🏐, Parkour 🤸, Street Dance 🕺💃, Stand Up Paddle🏄, Olympic Wrestling🤼, Sailing🚣, a Fun Run & a 5K Run 🏃dedicated to the memory of Dr.Victor Calvagna. All proceeds of the event will be donated to Puttinu Cares in his honour.

📝We will have try-outs and competitions throughout, with dedicated coaches for each sport. Activities will span from the 5 a-side pitch to the square and even in the bay!
👪This event is family friendly, with a number of challenges and activities for all ages. A kids-themed obstacle course will also make its debut. We also have some surprises we will announce - watch this space! 🔥

This event is in collaboration with Reġjun Tramuntana, Leap Squad, Street Elements, Malta Surf & SUP, MOVE, Federazzjoni Maltija Lotta and the Young Sailor Club.

For all Competitions, Beginners and Advanced Groups will be Created on the day. People Registering for Try Out sessions in BMX/Skateboarding/Scooter will require their own equipment and Helmet. All other try-out sessions will have the equipment provided.

In consideration for being allowed to participate in any way in the San Pawl il-Baħar Sports Fest, you acknowledge and covenant that you have read and consent to the following by ticking the “Yes, I agree with the above terms and conditions”:

You agree to be bound by the regulations of this event and agree to implicitly follow the instructions of the staff and volunteers organising the festival.

You declare that you are medically fit to partake in the activities of the uum festival, whether it is for trying out a sport or competing in one.

You confirm that you have not taken and not taking any illegal substances in terms of the relevant WADA list and you shall remain responsible and in virtue of the present.

You agree to assume all risks associated with their participation in the  San Pawl il-Baħar Sports Fest. You agree to HOLD HARMLESS, RELEASE, DEFEND, AND INDEMNIFY of the San Pawl il-Baħar Sports Fest project team and organizing committees (MSA / MSSA / Kunsill lokali San Pawl il-Baħar) and all associated partner organizations, the Event venue, the owners, volunteers, operators, contractors, and employees of said companies, and their affiliated organizations and companies, insurance carriers, parents, agents, representatives, assignees, officers, and directors for ANY AND ALL LIABILITY and claims for any and all injuries or death to persons or damage to property arising from the Participant’s participation in the Event, including those claims based on any Released Party’s alleged or actual NEGLIGENCE or breach of any express or implied WARRANTY. In the case of a minor participant, the minor participant’s parent or legal guardian acknowledges that they are also agreeing to this Liability Waiver on behalf of the minor participant and that the minor participant shall be bound by all the terms of this agreement.

Photo and video materials will be recorded for the purposes of facilitating the dissemination process of the San Pawl il-Baħar Sports Fest. You accept that this material will be shared online and on project relevant social and conventional media.
