Move Redmond is a 501(c)4 nonprofit organization that advocates for better streets, trails and transit in Redmond. Our organization is currently looking for several new board members to guide the organization. If you are passionate about transportation and making the Eastside more accessible for people who walk, bike and take transit, then the Move Redmond Board is a great role for you!
Commitment
The Board of Directors meet 10 times per year, typically cancelling one meeting in Summer and one in December. Board meetings are no more than an hour and half long. There is one annual retreat that is 4-6 hours long.
Responsibilities
The Board of Directors sets the strategic direction of the organization and passed a strategic plan in 2022. Currently, the Board is looking for someone to take on the role of treasurer, who will meet with the Executive Director and accountant prior to the board meetings to prepare a financial report.
Process
After filling out this form the Executive Director will reach out with you to set up a meeting with another board member. If it feels like a good fit for everyone you will be invited to join the next board meeting. The rest of the board will vote on adding you as a new member.
