Thank you for your interest in participating in Sacramento Cocktail Week's Triple Threat Throwdown! Once teams have been decided you will receive a more detailed deck consisting of rules and run of show for the competition.

This competition will be comprised of 7 teams, 3 Sacramento bartenders per team.  Teams will be required to come up with their own original cocktail using Maker’s Mark red top prior to the event. Each team will get their own table aka bar to decorate and theme out in their own fashion.The competition will be comprised of three rounds:

ROUND 1
Teams will be required to make 1oz samples of their cocktail for attendees walking around.
Attendees will get the chance to sample each team's original cocktail, and will vote anonymously on People’s Choice. People’s Choice will be moving on to the next round.
Amongst the attendees will be 3 “secret shopper” judges. They will be judging on creativity, originality, and taste. These judges will pick 3 bars to continue on to round 2.

ROUND 2
The team captain of each team will be required to make that same original cocktail as 3 full individual cocktails, 1 for each of the judges.
The judges will this round be judging more intensely on taste, balance, aroma, garnishes, style, execution and delivery.
The two top teams will then move on to the final round.

ROUND 3
Surpise Challenge - 10 minutes each team.

First Place Prize $1,000 for the team.
Prizes available for second and third as well.
Each competitor win or lose will be given an (IMO fucking dope) swag bag from Maker’s Mark.
