DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
This scholarship is for a fully funded or partially funded seat in an upcoming “Complete Course” at the NZ Comedy School. We’re looking for all kinds of people who want to contribute to the growing diversity of voices in New Zealand comedy and performing arts. We’re open to all considerations of diversity: ethnic, cultural, age, economic, gender, sexuality, ability, etc. etc. etc.
REQUIREMENTS
You must be committed to attending all the classes and one-on-one sessions, performing in the graduation, and then continuing on with comedy in some form or another (we need your voice!)
After it’s all over, I’d love for you to write a brief testimonial about your experience in class. It can be anonymous, but I do want to show that the money is going to deserving folks.
Once you’re in the class, you will be treated the same as all the other students in the class (other than, of course, any accommodations you might need). You will get the same time, attention, care, and feedback from your instructor, but also the same expectations and homework. No one needs to know that you’re a scholarship student.
