Calling all foodies: Are you a food writer, influencer, or just love sharing great food finds in your world? Become the next great contributor to Roadfood.com! Join the legacy of award-winning and New York Times best selling authors Jane & Michael Stern who pioneered the American food scene and pursued a lifelong travel adventure. Roadfood is looking for a network of regional contributors around the country to explore regional culture through local dishes, highlighting great food trends and the restaurants that serve them.

Contributor Requirements:

• Write approximately 600 words per restaurant with a focus on dishes and drinks that stand out

• Implement SEO, keywords and relevant links to posts

• Provide photography and short video for interest: Camera phones work great!

You will be provided with a general rubric for writing your posts and one-on-one training on technical skills if needed, but note that we are looking for people with distinct voices and energy. You do not need to be a professional food taster, food writer or food photographer--you just need to be passionate about uncovering hidden local gems and enthusiastic about sharing them with the audience.

In addition, Roadfood is gearing up for the second season of award winning television show, Roadfood: Discovering America One Dish at a Time on PBS.  As a regional correspondent, you may have a chance to be a key part of this show, guiding our host through your area from a food perspective.
