Completing this form will allow me to create a roster of 6th - 8th grade students who are interested in Maplewood Cross Country. It will also provide the information for my email distribution list. A very brief introduction to Cross Country:
Our first practice is Tuesday September 12th.
We practice Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:05 to 5:05 pm.
Our first meet is Thursday, September 21st at Edmonds-Woodway High School.
There are four meets total. 6th graders participate in the first three meets. The final championship meet is for 7th & 8th grade students only.
7th & 8th grade students will have a sports participation fee and need a current sports physical.
6th grade students do not pay the fee and do not need a current sports physical.
More detailed information will follow. Yes, there will be additional forms to complete. :)
Cross Country is a great way to meet people in 6th, 7th & 8th grade. It is a low pressure sport where everyone goes at their own pace and sets their own personal goals. It is a fun opportunity to run around outside for the last bit of summer and the beginning of fall.
