ESSER is a stimulus and emergency COVID Relief funding stream authorized as part of the CRRSA Act enacted on December 27, 2020. This additional funding stream is intended to help states and school districts safely reopen and sustain the safe operation of schools and address the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the nation's students. We are working to hear the voice of our stakeholders when determining use of funds. The allocations are only designated for very specific areas.
