In functional medicine, we recognize that the key to long-term healing is treating the underlying
cause of illness, rather than just suppressing symptoms. We also know that when it comes to
treatment, there really is no one-size-fits-all approach. We don’t treat the disease, we treat the
individual.

In our work with you, we’ll use the most advanced, evidence-based diagnostic methods to
determine the underlying causes of your health problems, and then we will custom tailor a
treatment just for you based on your lab results as well as your individual circumstances and
needs. This is the approach that ultimately helped me to recover my health, and it’s what we use
here at Holistic RI every day to help our patients to do the same.
