Tutor Workshop: Assessing Student Progress
When: Thursday, June 10
Time: 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. or 6:30–7:30 p.m.
Where: Zoom

How do you know if your student is making progress? What should your student learn next? In this workshop, Steven will tackle these questions and explain how you can easily assess the progress your student is making.

Formative Assessments are great tools for tutors to use when trying to see how students are advancing and what skills need to be learned next. These informal checks for understanding and progress can be used at any point in the learning process and offer lower-stress alternatives to typical tests. We will look at a few different styles of informal assessments you can use with your student.
