LTUHC SUMMER HOCKEY - February 2023 Mixed Summer Hockey
Hockey is back at the Cauldron!

Our Internal mixed competition at La Trobe will start on 30 January and finishes in early March. Games will be played on Monday nights at the Cauldron (KP Hardiman Reserve). Following from the 2022 season, the competition is 6-a-side on a half field. The competition features evenly balanced teams with modified rules so players of all skill levels can participate and enjoy themselves. Junior players must be 13 years and older to play. 

We will have a BBQ first and last nights of the season and cold drinks every night so everyone can socialise before, during and after the games.

The is an ideal way for players to keep in touch, keep their fitness, improve their skills before the winter and of course, to socialise and have fun! The cost is $20 for the season, or $5 per game to play casually. For juniors, it is $10 for the entire season.

All players, La Trobe or non-La Trobe, are welcome to play!

Learn how to umpire in a relaxed easy going environment. You will be paired with one of our experienced umpires and be able to learn the ins and outs of umpiring in an in game situation.

Due to COVID restrictions there will be a few extra rules to follow to make sure we have a safe environment. The main rules are if you don't feel 100%, don't come to hockey. I don't know why I should even tell you this but spitting or anything similar is also banned! Are you happy to follow any additional rules? *
I will not be a tool on the field, will play fairly and play in the spirit of summer hockey.
