This dialogue-based learning experience will explore social class identity, classism and its impact on people’s experience in higher education. dr. becky martinez is one of two authors of the recent book Straddling Class in the Academy: 26 Stories of Students, Administrators, and Faculty from Poor and Working-Class Backgrounds and Their Compelling Lessons for Higher Education Policy & Practice.
