In order for us to teach origami figures, distribute diagrams, publish instructional materials, or even display photographs or other images of folded works, we must obtain permission from both the artist who created the figure and the diagrammer (if different from the creator). We must also obtain permission for the form of publication: oral teaching, publication of printed diagrams, and/or video, web, or other electronic publication.
