It is well known that it is our utmost duty to wholly support noble activities with all our mite and gain the Anugraha of Sri Hari Vyau and Gurugalu. All we need is a genuine opportunity to offer our seva. Our fruits are immense if our contribution reaches at a time when there is an utmost need for it. Let me sincerely put forth to you that there is a great opportunity to support Veda Vidya and Gow Seva by contributing to Atmashrama. For those who are new to Atmashrama let me present to you a brief summary of Atmashrama's activities.
Atmashrama is a spiritual institution started by Dr. Vidwan Rachuri Acharya, in the year 2006 which is doing yeomen service for the propagation of Sanatana Dharma in general and Madhwa Philosophy in particular. The key undertakings of Atmashrama are 1) Atmashrama Gurukula 2) Rajatapeetham Goshala. Atmashrama has developed Madhwa Lab, a unique high tech experience center housing Madhwa Theater, Gallery & Madhwa Studio which is located at BSK 6th Stage in Bangalore. Madhwa Lab houses hi-tech professional infrastructure to conduct Seminars, Workshops, Online and Offline Courses. It is one of the centers which you must visit in Bangalore. This is a temple of a different kind. This is the only place where you one can find the entire Sarvamoola Works of Sri Madhwacharya inscribed on the walls - a true epitome of Sri Madhwacharya himself. Madhwa Lab also encompasses an architecture for learning and experiencing Madhwa Philosophy through the Madhwa, Theater & Galleries. Several documentaries about Madhwa Philosophy including bioscopes Madhwa Stalwarts like Sri Satyadharma Tirtha, Sri Yadavararu have been produced by Atmashrama and regularly screened in Madhwa Theater on weekends and special days. Atmashrama is also running a popular Youtube Channel Prachurantara Pravachana in Kannada & Telugu languages.
Another important activity is the propagation of Veda Vidya & Madhwa Philosophy. Around 10 full-time students are presently being trained at the Ashrama in Veda, Vedanta, Modern Subjects & Music. The students are provided Veda and Shastra education in Traditional Gurukula Style. They are aspiring to become Sudha Vidwans in future. The entire cost of the students stay is born by the Ashrama.
Atmashrama also conducts several online pathas and courses for the benefit of those who are interested in learning Sanskrit, Stotras, Bhagavad Gita and Madhwa Philosophy.
Atmashrama has also recently launched a Go-Shala at its Rajata Peetham Farm at Kuranagere near Channapatna of Bangalore-Mysore expressway. Construction of a Goshed and Watchman quarters was completed and presently the Goshala is taking care of 3 cows & 4 calves. The entire go-shaala expenditure is wholly funded by Atmashrama.
Atmashrama runs only by monthly donations its Patha members and well wishers. Due to the launch of Goshaala and also due to the considerable increase in cost incurred in managing the activities at the Ashrama Gurukula, we are presently in urgent need to add more donors who can contribute on a monthly or yearly basis. This way, we will be able not only to run our Gurukula & Goshala on a daily basis but also plan for any infrastructural management including Utility Bills, Website, Internet Services, Software Licenses etc for properly conducting online courses.
