OA Baltimore Area Intergroup - Future In-Person Meeting Survey
This survey is open to all OA members and focuses on those who live in or attend meetings served by the OA Baltimore Intergroup.  The Intergroup would like to offer in-person meetings for members interested in meeting together outside of virtual options, as some members seek to have a connection to other members different than what hybrid or virtual options provide.

Eventually meetings in-person, hybrid, and virtual will be offered in our service area, which encompasses Harford County, Baltimore County, Baltimore city, northern Anne Arundel County, and Howard County, Maryland.

For this survey, these are the meeting definitions
  • Virtual = online only, by Zoom or other online option
  • In-person = members meet physically together in one location.
  • Hybrid = members have the option to attend virtually or in-person.
Our meeting list is located at https://oabaltimore.org/meetings/.

Please tell us your thoughts so we can create the best opportunities for as many members as possible.  Thank you for your thoughts!

If you would consider an in-person meeting, in what areas would you like to attend?  Please check all boxes that apply to you.
Did you know that any OA member can start a meeting?  A meeting is simply defined as "two more more people who meet to offer mutual support and seek recovery."

Would you be willing to start a meeting? The Intergroup will cover the cost of a meeting starter kit. All it takes is willingness, being available to attend the meeting regularly of the day, time, and location of your choice; and one more member to join you.

If you are willing to help start an in-person meeting or would consider it, please provide us your name and your contact information.

Your contact info will be kept in confidence unless you allow us to connect you with other members also interested in starting meetings.

We will contact you later to help you start the meeting, with our thanks.

Clear selection
Would you be interested in getting together for a meal or other social gathering that would not necessarily be a meeting?
Clear selection

In what locations or settings would you like to have a "pop up" meeting or other social gathering?
What other types of opportunities would you like to see created to allow OA members to meet together?
THANK YOU!
Thank you for completing this survey!  We look forward to addressing this question further with the hope of bringing more meetings to you and to the still-suffering compulsive eaters who are seeking recovery in our service area.  You are welcome to send other thoughts and questions later to Mike B. at MikeB1Bear@yahoo.com. The Intergroup will report back to you, our members, as this activity develops and continues.
