Requirements:
To be eligible the athlete must:

1. Be a 2024 member of the USATF PACIFIC ASSOCIATION as of the application deadline. Athletes who are not PACIFIC ASSOCIATION members are not eligible.
2. Be eligible to represent the US at all levels of international competition.
3. Have exhausted or rejected remaining athletic eligibility at NCAA colleges and universities.
4. Have a clean drug testing record with no history of drug related suspensions.

Make sure to complete your short personal statement as part of the application. You may also send a personal statement by email to grants@usatfpacificfoundation.org no later than the grant deadline.
Performance Standards
All post collegiate Pacific Association athletes are encouraged to apply. Priority will be given to athletes that meet the minimum qualification standards for the 2004 Olympic Trials. This Olympic year our focus is to fund athletes that have a potential to compete at the Olympic Trials. All qualifying performances must be attained between January 1, 2023 and June 9, 2024.

Terms and Conditions
Training Grants will be paid in one installment. If selected, the applicant will receive an email notification as well as an award letter with the payment. As a recipient, you must send us acceptance of the following grant conditions:
1. One action picture of you in your event, in uniform, and a separate headshot for promotional use by the Foundation (the more you send the more we can feature you!) If we have photos already of you from previous grant cycles, we will let you know.
3. a completed athlete profile form & W9
4. Your permission to use this information for solicitation and publicity for the grant process and by the Foundation on social media (Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook) or in our sponsorship activities.
5. Availability to meet with donors or other athletes to share your experiences if requested

At the completion of your competitive season you must provide to the Foundation:
1. a short note updating your 2024 results, competitive progress and what you were able to accomplish with the help of the grant.
2. additional photos from in-season competition for social media use and promotion.
